Exhibition ABRA-CADABRA - Dicember 27-29 2026 Avezzano (Italy)

In the city of Avezzano (Italy), the ABRA-CADABRA art event took place at the end of December, combining an exhibition project and a series of public discussions. The event lasted from December 27 to 29 in the Sala Irti (Ex Scuola Montessori) space.
The exhibition presented works by contemporary artists working in various genres and techniques - from painting to installation. The project had a site-specific format, that is, the works were created or adapted specifically for the exhibition space, which allowed for a deeper interaction with the location and the viewer.
On the opening day, December 27, a ceremonial reception for guests and an introduction to the artists took place. Both Italian and international authors took part in the exhibition, including NAGA, Piergiorgio Colone, Alex Prosperi, Bruno Cerasi, Flavio L. Petricca and others.
In parallel with the exhibition, the Talk & Conferenze program was held, curated by Natalie Pagani. Over the course of two days, participants attended lectures, presentations and discussions on culture, folklore, symbolism and contemporary art. Topics included narratives of Abruzzo folklore, the “alchemical marriage”, spiritual practices and the role of symbols in everyday life.
The organizers emphasized that the event aimed to create a space for dialogue between tradition and modernity, as well as to explore art as a tool for understanding reality.
ABRA-CADABRA became a prominent cultural event in the region, bringing together art, science and spiritual practices in one space.
Sala Irti (Ex Scuola Montessori).
