Homage for ItalyCollection: 2026. Constructed Meadow This artwork is a personal gesture of gratitude to Italy, which offered refuge to me and my family after we were forced to leave Ukraine. The bunch of grapes symbolizes unity, hospitality, and new life, while its dark color preserves the memory of the painful experience of displacement. Homage to Italy tells the story of a refuge that gradually becomes a sense of belonging. |
