I do not depict flowers.
I depict an attempt to survive. The body is no longer a body - it is a place where something grows in defiance. I work with the fear of being someone else. With an experience where identity is not fixed, but constantly falling apart and reassembling. Floralia is not a garden. It is an imitation of a home. There is no soil here, so the roots grow through the body. Beauty here is not harmony. It is endurance. I am not creating Eden. I am creating a space, where you can exist even if you do not belong. |
